![]() ![]() Ambify - the Hue enabled jukebox turns music into light using Philips Hue Smart Bulbs. In the world of smart lights, Philips Hue is still the undisputed top dog. Being the first of it's kind, Ambify combines the simplicity of a jukebox with the endless new possibilities offered by Philips' Hue System. If you want to get more advanced then I also use a program called Audio Hijack. While similar to Ambify, Hue Disco offers one big advantage. It's a s simple as starting the app, selecting your lamps and choosing a playlist. That captures the audio from any program I want and I split the audio signal to two places. One is Ambify and the other is my speakers. Then I set a 100ms delay on the just the speaker audio and the music and lights are in perfect sync. Instead of having to play music on your iOS device to start the interactive light show, Hue Disco will listen for music through the microphone. So along with any music on your device, it also supports a wide variety of other options like a Bluetooth speaker and more. With the upgraded version 1.1 iOS app, Philips brings in advanced programming functions. Ambify for iOS and hue Disco for Android make Hue react to music, providing you with an instant dance floor.Īmbify then applies our nifty algorithms to analyse and visualise your music in real-time using the lamps you've previously selected.
